Compassionate doula support services

BASED IN QUEZON CITY, MANILA, PHILIPPINES

Doula support for mothers in Metro Manila who want calm, informed, hands-on support through pregnancy, labor, and the first days postpartum.

I'm Irina. I'm a doula. For 8 years, I've sat beside mothers in birth pools, hospital rooms, and quiet bedrooms across Manila. I'd love to sit beside you, too.

Pregnancy can feel uncertain. Birth shouldn't feel lonely. Whether you're birthing at home or in a hospital, you deserve a calm, informed guide by your side, someone who has done this hundreds of times and who trusts your body even on the days you don't.

I’m Irina Otmakhova, a certified Childbirth Doula and Hypno-Doula. With Abbie Yabot, our breastfeeding consultant, we bring 30 years of combined experience supporting Manila mothers through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.

If birth has scared you for as long as you can remember, you don’t have to do it afraid.

Maybe your friend told you childbirth is dangerous. Maybe a first birth left you with more questions than peace. Maybe you simply don’t want to be sedated through the most important day of your life. You’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.

Q:
Do I need a doula if I’m birthing in a hospital?

Especially if you’re in a hospital. We don’t replace your OB, we make sure your voice is heard, your birth plan is honored, and you’re never alone behind the curtain.

Q:
When should I start working with you?

Ideally in your second trimester, but it’s never too late. We’ve supported mothers who reached out at 38 weeks and still had time to prepare and feel grounded.

Q:
What if I’ve had a traumatic birth before?

We hold space for that. Many of our mothers come to us after a difficult first birth and call this their “healing birth.” You’re not behind. You’re right on time.

Q:
Do you support home births in Metro Manila?

Yes. We support home births and hospital births across Metro Manila and the wider Philippines. Wherever you choose to bring your baby earthside, we'll meet you there.

Thank you for contacting us.We’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

We got it.

Ready when you are.

Tell me a little about what you need, your due date, and how you'd like to be supported. I'll get back to you within 24-28 hours.
